Learning Enrichment
CRBS is proud to feature "Ms. Pete" Wood our Learning Enrichment teacher.
The Learning Enrichment (LE) program at CRBS offers students additional time to process material presented in the classroom. The material may be covered in myriad ways, as best suits the needs of the student, using a wide variety of learning methods. This is done in both one-on-one or small group settings using a large resource of materials.
Read Naturally is offered to students who need to develop their fluency (reading pace) or particular reading comprehension skills. Much attention is paid to developing both good listening and study skills.
Any subject can be addressed that the student's teacher or parent requests. Areas of difficulty are assessed, and modifications are made when needed, to help the student achieve their personal goals both in the classroom setting and in LE.
Special attention is paid to the whole student on a spritual, emotional, cognitive and self-esteem level through reachable goals and great encouragement.
Perceptual vision issues and auditory needs can also be assessed and an extensive resource list is available for screening any student needs.
